TPU 3D printingRubber-like flexibility for grips, seals and cases
TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) is a flexible, rubber-like material. Our standard grade is Shore 95A: firm enough to hold its shape, soft enough to bend, squash and spring back. It resists abrasion and absorbs shock.
Best for
Gaskets, seals and washers
Phone and device cases, bumpers
Grips, handles and feet
Vibration dampers and cable strain reliefs
Wheels and treads for robots and RC models
Not ideal for
Rigid structural parts
Very thin, tall or highly detailed features
Tips for ordering in TPU
Flexibility depends on wall thickness and infill. Light infill gives a softer part.
TPU prints slowly, so expect a longer print time on the quote than for PLA.
